Very good training with highly motivated instructors which made it fun and easy to understand! The training was very realistic and applicable to the career of any security operator and police officer of today! I personally learned the most from the one-on-one scenario based training. It allowed for actual, real time, decision making that allowed me to apply and understand [the] threat matrix I had been taught earlier. Wow! I am a prior USMC Military Policeman with Tactical Training from the early 90's and I thought this would be a refresher type deal for me, and man was I wrong. The things I have learned today showed me that no matter what level of training you think you have, if it's not updated or applied from time to time, it's lost. And to offer this level of training on a civilian level for the prices you offer them is insane. You guys must truly love what you’re doing and it shows! I haven't been so motivated by an Instructor in any hands-on course as I was today. That, along with the knowledge you have and pass on to students via simulation drills, combines to be the "Perfect Storm" for any level of personal protection and/or security training. I am sincerely eager and motivated to continue training with SPAZ because if you plan on working on any level of security or protecting yourself and your family, you may as well do it with the confidence that you guys have installed in me today.

Very professional in the class and on the field! The methods of having simulations of a security threat, gave the class and me, knowledge on what to do, and how to control the situation. The S.P.A.Z. Introduction to Basic Simunitions class was a success, in giving me basic security and protection knowledge. Great instructors! Great attitude! Great material! Training with S.P.A.Z. was a great experience for me. Their “hands-on” concept of training is most effective within the Close Protection industry. After taking their training course, I am subconsciously aware of my surroundings, especially within [the] realm of 21 feet. Their dedication to training is literally a matter of life or death. They also train to act within the law and they guarantee their curriculum with their support in a court of law should the situation arise. They also demonstrate that attitude and articulation is just as, if not more vital in the course of your duties as a Close Protection Operative. The resumes of the instructors [are] as impressive as their curriculum and I will be training with them again.

Both [instructors] have a wealth of experience to bring to the table and were passionate about sharing it. It’s great that this course walks you through scenarios and not just the written material... like many other so-called training facilities. This training is not for the faint of heart. The individual who wants to add practical, tactical and proven tools to his/her "toolbox" should attend this training. I found that the instructors were informed with current information and current techniques... [They were] ready to inspire and instruct those "operatives" who wanted more from their profession... The [simunitions] training that I received from you on 7/16/2010 opened my eyes to stuff that I didn’t know before. What I learned in class has gotten me back to work [on] 7/21/2010! I got hired with a security company, and one of the points that was told to me in the hiring process was that the class I'd taken with you, helped me get the job! It showed them that I was willing to learn and keep growing. I want to say thank you again.

I took a... simunitions course and it was by far, the best training I have had for security. I can't wait to go back for more courses. [SPAZ] made learning fun. The hands-on, scenario based training was an eye opener. The instructors show you real world scenarios and are very knowledgeable in security. They take time out of their busy schedules just to give free courses; [that] shows their dedication to their work! I just want to say thank you for the class and I will be back for more. I would recommend any of their courses.

Going over the 21 foot rule really showed how quick you have to react [especially] the different shoot / no shoot scenarios. It would be safe to say this was the best training I have received working in the security field.

I must say I thought your sims course was very informational. You really put me in situations that made me think. I love your approach to training, very practical and hands on. I really like the way you guys take the time with each individual student, and allow us to interject at any point in the situation. Thanks again.

I have to admit... the training from S.P.A.Z was fantastic. I learned different tactics that I didn’t know before... that will help me towards my career. It will be a pleasure for me to recommend you guys to my friends who are interested in the field.

As a retired police officer from a large metropolitan area, I have received tactical training from some of the best law enforcement agencies in the world, at both the local and federal levels. I recently had the opportunity to participate in some of the training provided by SPAZ. I can honestly say that the training is as good as or better than what is offered at the highest levels of law enforcement training. SPAZ has made it possible for the armed civilian or individual looking to work in contract security or bodyguard services the opportunity to receive training that has traditionally been reserved for law enforcement personnel only. The instructors at SPAZ will not bore you with B.S. war stories, but actually teach you what it takes to survive an armed encounter.

THANKS A MILLION for the training and I really enjoyed myself while learning about things I would have never though of reading a book or watching it. I also saw that you guys are both VERY knowledgeable about what you do and therefore provide real life simulations and answer questions accurately. THANKS AGAIN AND YOU WILL SEE ME AGAIN.

I have taken state required security training in three different states. The hands on training I received today will empower me to protect people and property more than all of that training combined without a doubt.

I really appreciate the work and enthusiasm you put into the training. The introduction to Basic Simunitions has been more hands on training that I have had since I received my licenses in 2004. Using my brains in real life situations to use or not to use deadly force was a great feeling. All the different situations that we were put will stay with me always. Thanks for the time you gave me you guys were great. I will be coming back for other certifications to enhance my knowledge in the field of security.
